What do I already know about them?
You wrote it down somewhere: a note after the call, the scope in a PDF, a line in your mail. Ask in plain words and YouSpot finds it, reads it, and answers with where each part came from.
How it shows up
The call with Northwind is in ten minutes. You agreed something with Alice in June and you know you wrote it down. The note sits on her page, the signed scope is a PDF you uploaded, and the rest is in your mail. Ask once and YouSpot puts the three together.
It answers from your own history first. Each answer links the note, file or person it came from, so you can open it and check. When your history doesn't hold the answer, it says so instead of guessing.
How it knows
Your contacts come from your LinkedIn archive or a contact file you import. Your notes are the ones you add on a person or company, plus Obsidian and Granola if you use them. Your files are the PDFs, scans and text files you drop into chat or add in YouSpot. It finds a note by what it says and a file by its name, then opens the file and reads it. With Gmail connected, it searches your mail as well. All of it, joined to the people it's about, is what YouSpot calls your second brain.

Questions
- What kinds of files can it read?
- PDFs, photos and scans, and text files like CSV. A PDF up to 10 MB reads in full, tables and scanned pages included. Drop one into chat and it's there to ask about from then on.
- Where do my notes come from?
- Wherever you already keep them. Add a note on any person or company in YouSpot, or tell chat something to remember. Obsidian notes join through the YouSpot plugin, and Granola meeting notes join with your Granola key.
- How do I know the answer is right?
- Each answer links the note, file or person it came from, so you can open it and check. If your history doesn't hold the answer, it says so rather than guessing.
The other things it watches for.
- Every day
Who needs my attention?
A short list, most mornings: who's gone quiet, who's coming up, who changed jobs, who you never answered. Each with why, and the sources. You pick one.
- Your network
Who should I reconnect with?
Three clients fit in your head. The ninety people who could send you work don't. Every week YouSpot names the one worth a note, says why now, and drafts it in your voice.
- New business
Who in my network could become a customer?
The best new business is usually someone you already know whose circumstances changed. YouSpot watches for that. When you want to go wider, describe the kind of company and it finds them, marked with who you know at each.
- Promises
What follow-ups am I forgetting?
YouSpot reads what you said you would do, what others are waiting on from you, and, with Gmail connected, what your email says you invoiced and never heard back about. Then it drafts the follow-up.
- Your network
Who can get me into a company?
Name the company. YouSpot finds the warmest real route in: who you know there, who you both know, and how you know them. Or an honest no route from here.
- Changes
What changed in my network?
People change jobs, companies raise, champions leave. Every week YouSpot names the changes among people you know that matter to you, with a reason and a note to send.
- Every day
What's the latest with this client?
Every client's context, one search away. Ask about Northwind and YouSpot reads the mail, the meetings and what's still open across every mailbox you've connected, then tells you in a few lines.
- Keeping up
What was in my newsletters?
You subscribed to them for a reason, and now they pile up unread. Each weekday morning YouSpot reads the ones you picked, tells you which issues are worth your time and why, and keeps every issue so you can ask about it later.
Bring in your history. Ask about your next call.
Give YouSpot your contacts, notes and files, and ask it anything about the people in them.
Nothing to fill in. Every answer links to where it came from. Everything exports in one click.
